Do you think copyrighted material is a big deal? Have you ever gotten music you didn't pay for?

Yes I do think copyright is a big deal. I think copyright is a big deal because copyright helps you or the author to protect his or her work.Yes, I have gotten plenty of music without paying.Now that I know that it hurts the authour or mainly the artist. It hurts the artist by the artist not getting paid or paid as much.So now I download music less for free.
