The associate professor Sasha Barab of Indiana University is developing an alternate video game that can teach as well as entertain. But some fear that they would be addicted. We are currently seeking an RN or EMT/Paramedic/Certified Cardiographic Technician to join our team in Wilmington, NC!

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of a site physician, performs various professional and administrative duties related to nuclear medicine stress testing including but not limited to: patient preparation, administration of exercise and pharmacological stress tests, and application of ACLS measures to patients when needed. Specifically, you will be responsible for preparation of patient for imaging and stress testing procedures including patient interviews, patient consent and signatures, and conducting patient teaching related to nuclear imaging procedure. Establish Peripheral Intravenous (IV) access; set up and monitor patient through 12 lead EKG stress testing. Will be responsible for administering intravenous medications for pharmalogical stress testing. Responsible for driving company van and following Radiation Safety and Department of Transportation regulations for purpose of transporting equipment, medical supplies, radioactive material and staff to customer site.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Current state and/or National license, ACLS and CPR is required.
· Applicant will be required to obtain accreditation as a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 45 days of hire. Digirad will coordinate and pay for this certification.
· Requires a minimum of three years experience in an emergency care setting with experience responding to emergency cardiac and pulmonary events.
· Must have previous experience monitoring and interpreting of 12 lead EKG stress testing.
· Non-commercial Driver’s License is required; license must not be suspended, restricted, or revoked.
· Ability to lift up to 60lbs and assist with moving medical equipment.

School

How can a system be designed so students care more for learning?

The system can be designed so students to care more for learning by having a longer lunch. Food is like fuel, it gives you energy. Maybe if they make the lunches a little longer then students would want to learn. Also the teachers should have a fun learning system. Kids love games. Os they should have games or fun trivia quizzes or something. Another major problem is the grading system. Some intelligent teachers have quizzes and test counts for 4 or more grades. Why???!!! A quiz or test should not be that much because most students don't do well on test and quizzes!! I know I don't do well on quizzes and tests
